Educational projects, as elements of the didactic discipline in the educational sciences, are essential to generate the acquisition of meaningful learning, as long as they are managed properly and allow students to foster the development of various transversal skills. For this reason, it was proposed as an intentionality of study to reflect on educational projects as an element for improving educational quality. Methodologically it corresponds to a study of documentary review of reflective type, in which dialectics was used as a method for the construction of knowledge. To carry out the proposed objective, we worked with a total of 30 documents identified through a selective sampling of the Elsevier, Web of Science, SciELO and Google Academic databases. For the processing and presentation of the findings, the analysis categories were pre-established, being these: a) digital technologies and management of educational projects; b) educational projects: key for the development of student skills, and c) building the society of the future through educational projects. The findings of the research help to verify the importance of educational projects for the transformation of social realities, especially when considering the requirements of students, as well as their abilities to acquire learning, which guarantees the development of meaningful and functional learning, which can be used by them in the future to transform the social reality to which they are exposed.
