Abstract

GARATEA G, Carlos. THREE STORIES ABOUT THE SPANISH OF PERU: THE INDIAN, THE WHITE AND THE MESTIZA. Lingüística [online]. 2017, vol.33, n.1, pp.107-120. ISSN 2079-312X.  https://doi.org/10.5935/2079-312x.20170007.

Many times the historians of the language forget the textual diversity; In others, ideological pressure can deform the value of texts and ascribes them to expressions of different origin. This work shows how the registers and levels are complemented and varied, according to the types of texts, with the function of each one of them and, above all, with the expressive will and creativity of the authors. Although the center is the history of Spanish in Peru, the criteria exposed transcend any spatial delimitation and refer to important theoretical and methodological considerations in the history of languages

Keywords : Spanish of America; textual pragmatics; language contact; Spanish of Peru; pluricentrismo.
