RUBINSTEIN, Sofía  e  FRANCO, Vanessa. Postgraduate training in adapted physical activity in Uruguay: inputs for a review. Cuad. Investig. Educ. [online]. 2022, vol.13, n.1, pp.96-111.  Epub 01-Jun-2022. ISSN 1510-2432.  https://doi.org/doi.org/10.18861/cied.2022.13.1.3096.

In line with the advances in the field of adapted physical activity and teaching under the paradigm of inclusion, this study focused on analyzing aspects of the curriculum of the specialization in Adapted Physical Activity and Disability of the University Institute of the Young Men´s Christian Association of Uruguay, from the perspective of the students of the first cohort. For the methodology, a mixed triangulation design carried out in two stages was chosen. In the first quantitative stage, a digital questionnaire was applied to the 12 registered students and in the second qualitative stage, a group interview was carried out with 4 students who voluntarily accepted to participate. The results achieved in 17 subjects of the curriculum show that the participating subjects are satisfied with the quality of the contents, the depth of how they are presented and the bibliography suggested by the teachers with averages between 3,6 and 4,8. The two remaining subjects obtained averages of 2,5 and 3,1, which poses the challenge of making changes in their proposals. It is concluded that specialization is an important training space, which collaborates in the improvement of the professional practice of Physical Education teachers who develop their work, both in adapted physical activity and in inclusive contexts.
