The aim was to analyze the incidence of stress and the risk of developing "burnout" in the members of the assistance staff of a mobile emergency system. A short inquiry was applied to 76 members of the assistance staff of SUAT. A great level of stress was detected, as well as maladaptative mechanisms of response to it, with the consequence of developing "burnout" syndrome.
