SUMMARY The clinical case of a 52 year old female with a history of cardiac transplant because of dilated cardiomyopathy and symptomatic uterine leiomyoma is presented. A uterine arteries embolization was performed. The general details of the disease and of this particular case, the technical aspects related to the method, its indications and advantages and also immediate and late follow-up are described.
