Psicológicas is an indexed, peer reviewed Journal, published by
Universidad Católica del Uruguay. Each manuscript submitted for
publication shall be reviewed by at least two referees, on a
double-blind basis. Ciencias Psicológicas is published in paper
format biannually since 2007, and it is available in the nation's most
important libraries, as well as exchanged for numerous international
academic publications. When considered suitable by the Editorial
Council, additional extraordinary editions might take place. Ciencias Psicológicas is analyzed and indexed by Latindex. The Journal´s digital edition is accessible on Scielo Platform - opened access, and on EBSCO's Academic Source Premier – in full text in both cases. It is the official academic publication of the Psychology Department, Universidad Católica del Uruguay. Ciencias Psicológicas Journal publishes national and international research papers on psychology and related areas, as well as theoretical and methodological manuscripts in the field. The Journal includes original research papers; communications and conferences; updated information regarding newly released books and assessment techniques presented by their authors or other notorious professionals in the field; and announcements of upcoming national and international academic events. Referees shall be selected among the Editorial Council´s members and among national or international experts in the field of the paper to be reviewed. Review Committees are composed by qualified academics from Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Spain, United States of America, France, Italy, Nederland, & Venezuela. The Journal has been supported by experts in fields such as Psychology, Neurosciences, Education, Sociology, Philosophy, Medical Sciences, among others, who unselfishly collaborated on this national editorial undertaking |

| Manuscripts
shall observe the Journal´s publication standards and guidelines.
All works should follow the style guidelines of the Publication Manual
of the American Psychological Association (APA).
