La metodología usada fue aplicada bajo un diseño metodológico no experimental de tipo transversal, el nivel o alcance es descriptivo, dentro de la variable convivencia escolar se establecieron cuatro dimensiones: la violencia social de exclusión, violencia por medios tecnológicos, la formación para la no violencia y la gestión para la no violencia. La muestra fue de 73 estudiantes del sexto grado de educación primaria, de entre 10 y 12 años. La técnica fue la encuesta y el instrumento el Cuestionario de Convivencia Escolar en Entornos Virtuales (CEEV). Los resultados evidenciaron que el 77 % de los participantes afirman que siempre hay estudiantes que ponen apodos molestos a sus compañeros; entre el 88 % y el 78 % indican que siempre algunos estudiantes atacan, insultan o amenazan a otros mediante mensajes de texto en WhatsApp, correos electrónicos y redes sociales. Se concluye que los estudiantes vienen haciendo un mal uso de los entornos virtuales, específicamente de las redes sociales, donde presentan diversos comportamientos y actitudes que influyen negativamente en la convivencia escolar]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: The objective of this study was to identify the level of school coexistence in virtual environments among sixth-grade primary school students at a Peruvian educational institution. The research employed a non-experimental, cross-sectional design with a descriptive scope. Within the variable of school coexistence, four dimensions were established: social exclusion violence, technology-mediated violence, education for nonviolence, and management for nonviolence. The sample consisted of 73 sixth-grade students aged 10 to 12. The data collection technique was a survey, and the instrument used was the School Coexistence in Virtual Environments Questionnaire (CEEV). The findings revealed that 77% of participants reported that students frequently give their peers offensive nicknames; between 88% and 78% indicated that some students regularly attack, insult, or threaten others through text messages on WhatsApp, emails, and social media. The study concludes that students are misusing virtual environments-particularly social media-by engaging in behaviors and attitudes that negatively affect school coexistence]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo: O objetivo desta pesquisa foi identificar o nível de convivência escolar nos ambientes virtuais de estudantes do sexto ano do ensino fundamental de uma instituição educacional peruana. A metodologia utilizada foi aplicada sob um delineamento metodológico não experimental de tipo transversal, com nível ou alcance descritivo. Dentro da variável convivência escolar foram estabelecidas quatro dimensões: violência social de exclusão, violência por meios tecnológicos, formação para a não violência e gestão para a não violência. A amostra foi composta por 73 estudantes do sexto ano do ensino fundamental, com idades entre 10 e 12 anos. A técnica empregada foi de questionário e o instrumento utilizado foi o Questionário de Convivência Escolar em Ambientes Virtuais (CEEV). Os resultados evidenciaram que 77% dos participantes afirmam que sempre há estudantes que dão apelidos incômodos em seus colegas; entre 88% e 78% indicam que alguns estudantes sempre atacam, insultam ou ameaçam outros por meio de mensagens de texto no WhatsApp, e-mails e redes sociais. Conclui-se que os estudantes vêm fazendo um mau uso dos ambientes virtuais, especificamente das redes sociais, onde apresentam diversos comportamentos e atitudes que influenciam negativamente a convivência escolar]]></p></abstract>
