Este número reúne trabajos de colegas de distintos países y en áreas muy diversas, cumpliendo así uno de los objetivos que nos habíamos trazado para la revista, dar cabida a la diversidad de áreas que actualmente existen en Psicología y a aquellas ciencias de sustento y de frontera. Si además esto se enriquece con el aporte de expertos de ambos hemisferios, la concreción del objetivo se hace más preciada; como siempre agradecer la confianza de los
autores y la calidad y celeridad de los árbitros.

Estamos planificando la edición de números monográficos, con un primer número dedicado a Lectura y Escritura, otro a Infancia y Adolescencia y así sucesivamente, incorporar esta modalidad, sin abandonar el formato
que hemos seguido hasta el presente.

This issue brings together papers and research produced by colleagues of different countries and from diverse areas of psychology, fulfilling in this way one of the journal’s aims, that is, to give content to the diversity of fields of Psychology existing at present and of related and frontier sciences. We approach our aim through the contribution of experts from both south and north hemispheres, adding a special value. Furthermore, we are grateful to the authors for their trust and the referees for their quality and promptitude.

We are outlining the edition of monographic issues; the first one dedicated to Reading and Writing processes, and another one to Childhood and Adolescence, this way we begin to incorporate this modality, without leaving the
format followed thus far.

The Editorial Council celebrates, with the academic community of the Psychology Faculty, its 40 years of formation in Psychology in Uruguay and especially remember its graduate students.
