We are proud to complete with this number the double edition devoted to CLEI 2015.
In effect, the April 2016 and the August 2016 issues include a number of papers submitted in response to invitations sent to the authors of the best works presented at CLEI 2015 which took place in Arequipa, Perú.
]]> Authors were asked to prepare extended papers with new contributions with respect to the conference versions; these works were evaluated through the usual review process of the journal, with the help of anonymous reviewers who helped to evaluate the papers and guarantee their quality, in many cases giving improvement suggestions. A total of 16 papers were published between the two issues.As this was a long and demanding process, I particularly want to acknowledge the work of Alex Cuadros-Vargas, Diego Pinto, Francisco Tirado, Guillermo E. Calderón Ruiz, Hernán Astudillo, and Tony Clear, who were the invited editors who helped in the evaluation process, screening the papers, selecting and corresponding with the anonymous reviewers, and suggesting the decisions to be taken for each work.
