Mediante una comparativa de las dos últimas versiones cinematográficas, se reflexiona sobre los cambios progresivos que entretejen los valores primigenios y las transformaciones socioculturales actuales, lo que introduce una lectura del personaje enmarcada en los nuevos feminismos a la hora de estructurar narrativamente los rasgos que conforman a una antiheroína única y compleja como Harley Quinn. Este estudio demuestra que su representación no es definitiva, pues responde de manera mutable según se preste la ocasión. La antiheroína moderna nos invita a repensar y actualizar el mito tal y como lo conocíamos. A diferencia de otros arquetipos femeninos representados en el ámbito audiovisual, la antiheroína encarnada por Harley Quinn nos muestra un proceso fracturado, ambiguo y profundamente humano, más cercano al «camino de la heroína» delineado por Murdock; esto abre perspectivas que se enlazan con la diversidad y riqueza de las representaciones de «lo femenino» en el siglo XXI.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This research proposes to analyze the mutable construction of Harley Quinn&#8217;s figure, which continuously deconstructs the monomyth theory enunciated by Joseph Campbell. Through a comparison of the two most recent cinematographic versions, this study reflects on the progressive changes that interweave the primordial values and the current sociocultural transformations, introducing a reading of the character framed in the new feminisms when narratively structuring the features that constitute a unique and complex anti-heroine as Harley Quinn. This study demonstrates that Harley Quinn&#8217;s representation is not fixed, but rather mutable and context dependent. The modern anti-heroine invites a reexamination and reinterpretation of mythic structures as traditionally conceived. Unlike other female archetypes commonly portrayed in audiovisual media, the anti-heroine embodied by Harley Quinn reveals a fragmented, ambiguous, and profoundly human trajectory. Her narrative aligns more closely with the &#8220;heroine&#8217;s journey&#8221; as outlined by Maureen Murdock, opening avenues for exploring the multiplicity and richness of feminine representations in the 21st century.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo: Esta investigação tem como objetivo analisar a construção mutável da figura de Harley Quinn, que desconstrói continuamente a teoria do monomito enunciada por Joseph Campbell. Através de uma comparação das duas últimas versões cinematográficas, refletir-se-á sobre as mudanças progressivas que entrelaçam os valores primordiais e as transformações socioculturais actuais, introduzindo uma leitura da personagem enquadrada nos novos feminismos ao estruturar narrativamente os traços que compõem uma anti-heroína única e complexa como Harley Quinn. Este estudo demonstra que a representação de Harley Quinn não é fixa, mas sim fluida e dependente do contexto. A anti-heroína moderna convida a uma reavaliação e reinterpretac&#807;a&#771;o das estruturas míticas tal como foram tradicionalmente concebidas. Diferentemente de outros arquétipos femininos comumente retratados na mídia audiovisual, a anti-heroína encarnada por Harley Quinn revela uma trajetória fragmentada, ambígua e profundamente humana. Sua narrativa se alinha mais estreitamente com a &#8220;jornada da heroína&#8221; delineada por Maureen Murdock, abrindo caminhos para explorar a multiplicidade e a riqueza das representações do feminino no século XXI.]]></p></abstract>
