Utiliza-se como metodologia o relato de experiência para abordar o desenvolvimento da reestruturação da Pesquisa de Satisfação Anual da Biblioteca Central da PUCRS, aplicada desde 2011. Foi desenvolvida uma nova proposta, dividida em duas frentes: a Pesquisa Permanente de Usuários e a aplicação de entrevista em profundidade. Para a organização e análise dos dados foram utilizadas ferramentas baseadas em inteligência artificial: whisper.cpp, uma implementação em C++ do modelo de transcrição de áudio Whisper; e ChatGPT-4. Os resultados obtidos pela equipe de projeto da Biblioteca Central Irmão José Otão apontaram que adequar as pesquisas de usuários às novas tendências em user experience impulsiona o engajamento do público-alvo. Do mesmo modo, a utilização de ferramentas de inteligência artificial na organização e análise de dados qualitativos se mostrou altamente eficaz, otimizando os processos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este artículo tiene como objetivo contribuir a la Ciencia de la Información, presentando resultados y consideraciones relacionadas con acciones de experiencia de usuario en una biblioteca universitaria, incluido el uso de herramientas de inteligencia artificial para la organización y procesamiento de datos. El relato de experiencia se utiliza como metodología para abordar el desarrollo de la reestructuración de la Encuesta de Satisfacción Anual de la Biblioteca Central de la PUCRS, aplicada desde 2011. Se desarrolló una nueva propuesta, dividida en dos frentes: la Encuesta Permanente de Usuarios y la aplicación de entrevistas en profundidad. Para la organización y análisis de los datos se utilizaron herramientas basadas en inteligencia artificial: whisper.cpp, una implementación en C++ del modelo de transcripción de audio Whisper; y ChatGPT-4. Los resultados obtenidos por el equipo del proyecto en la Biblioteca Central Irmão José Otão indicaron que adaptar las encuestas de usuarios a las nuevas tendencias en experiencia de usuario impulsa el compromiso del público objetivo. De igual manera, la utilización de herramientas de inteligencia artificial en la organización y análisis de datos cualitativos demostró ser altamente eficaz, optimizando los procesos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article aims to contribute to Information Science by presenting results and considerations related to user experience actions in a university library, including the use of artificial intelligence tools for data organization and processing. The methodology used is the experience report to address the development of the restructuring of the Annual Satisfaction Survey of the PUCRS Central Library, which has been applied since 2011. A new proposal was developed, divided into two fronts: the Permanent User Survey and the application of in-depth interviews. To organize and analyze the data, tools based on artificial intelligence were used: whisper.cpp, a C++ implementation of the Whisper audio transcription model; and ChatGPT-4. The results obtained by the project team of the Irmão José Otão Central Library showed that adapting user research to new trends in user experience boosts target audience engagement. Likewise, the use of artificial intelligence tools in the organization and analysis of qualitative data proved to be highly effective, optimizing the processes.]]></p></abstract>
