Los estudios universitarios se apoyan en recursos de información necesarios para la formación académica y la investigación científica. Las universidades ofrecen servicios de alfabetización informacional a través de sus bibliotecas para formar a los estudiantes en técnicas y recursos documentales. Disponen también de asignaturas oficiales en las que se enseña a los estudiantes a seleccionar, emplear y aplicar recursos de información. El objetivo de la investigación es analizar los marcos de competencias informacionales y proponer un modelo pedagógico propio para estudios universitarios. La metodología sigue tres fases: revisión sistemática y análisis de casos, diseño e implementación de un modelo y evaluación y comunicación del modelo. Los resultados de la investigación aportados son: un marco terminológico de la enseñanza por competencias documentales, el Marco de Adquisición de Competencias Documentales en Estudios Universitarios (MACDEU) y un modelo pedagógico de enseñanza-aprendizaje basado en cuatro fases: pensar, conocer, aprender, hacer. La conclusión principal es que la combinación de un marco de competencias, un modelo pedagógico y un programa educativo es el método para la formación universitaria en competencias documentales.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Higher education is structured in programs designed for the progressive acquisition of knowledge to prepare students for professional practice. University studies are supported by information resources necessary for academic instruction and scientific research. Universities offer information literacy services provided by libraries to instruct students in information skills and resources. Universities also have official courses that teach students how to select, use and apply information resources. The objective of the research is to analyze the frameworks of informational competencies and to propose a pedagogical model for university studies. The methodology is divided into three phases: systematic review and analysis of cases, design and implementation of a model, and evaluation and communication of the model. Research results provided are a terminology framework for teaching by documentary competencies, the Framework for the Acquisition of Documentary Competencies in University Studies (MACDEU) and a teaching-learning pedagogical model based on four phases: thinking, knowing, learning, doing. The main conclusion is that the combination of a competency framework, a pedagogical model and an educational program is the method for university training in documentary skills.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo O ensino superior estrutura-se em programas de formação destinados à aquisição progressiva de conhecimentos que capacitem o aluno para o exercício profissional. Os estudos universitários são apoiados por recursos de informação necessários à formação académica e à investigação científica. As universidades oferecem serviços de alfabetização informacional por meio de suas bibliotecas para treinar os alunos em técnicas e recursos documentais. As universidades também possuem disciplinas oficiais nas quais os alunos são ensinados a selecionar, usar e aplicar recursos de informação. O objetivo da pesquisa é analisar os marcos das competências informacionais e propor um modelo pedagógico para os estudos universitários. A metodologia segue três fases: revisão sistemática e análise de casos, desenho e implementação de um modelo e avaliação e comunicação do modelo. Os resultados da investigação apresentados são: um quadro terminológico para o ensino por competências documentais, o Quadro para a Aquisição de Competências Documentais em Estudos Universitários (MACDEU) e um modelo pedagógico de ensino-aprendizagem baseado em quatro fases: pensar, saber, aprender, fazer.
