Para ello se ha realizado una revisión de literatura que incluye informes, tesis doctorales, libros y capítulos de libros, así como artículos publicados en revistas científicas, tanto en lengua inglesa como castellana, sin establecimiento de límite temporal. Los resultados muestran una armonización del concepto de formación profesional a nivel de Europa, si bien existen diferencias en las formas en las que cada estado concibe la calidad del sistema educativo. Fruto de esta discrepancia, aparecen diferentes propuestas, muchas de ellas derivadas de modelos empresariales, para gestionar la calidad de los centros de formación profesional. Como consecuencia del uso de modelos empresariales basados, principalmente, en procesos, se presenta la necesidad de incluir modelos de gestión del conocimiento enfocados a crear, transferir, almacenar y aplicar el conocimiento disponible en los centros de formación profesional, si bien no hay acuerdo a la hora de definir cómo deben ser estos modelos, ni la relación que deben establecer con los sistemas de garantía de calidad. La revisión realizada permite concluir que, si bien se está consolidando un mismo concepto para la formación profesional, queda todavía un largo recorrido para harmonizar los sistemas de garantía de calidad y su vinculación con los sistemas de gestión del conocimiento organizativo de los centros de formación profesional.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article aims to analyze, from a theoretical approach, the characteristics of knowledge management and quality management in vocational education centers in Europe. A literature review has been carried out, including the revision of reports, doctoral theses, books, book chapters, and articles published in scientific journals, both in English and Spanish, without establishing a time limit. The results show a harmonization of the concept of vocational training at the European level, although there are differences in how each state perceives the educational system's quality. As a result of this discrepancy, different proposals appear, many of them derived from business models, to manage the quality of vocational training centers. Due to the use of business models based mainly on processes, there is a need to include knowledge management models focused on creating, transferring, storing, and applying the knowledge available in vocational training centers. However, there is no agreement to define how these models should be or the relationship they should establish with quality assurance systems. The review carried out allows us to conclude that there is still a long way to go to harmonize vocational education centers' quality assurance systems and their link with the organizational knowledge management system. However, the concept of vocational education is being consolidated across Europe.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo O objectivo deste artigo é analisar, a partir de uma abordagem teórica, as características da gestão do conhecimento e da gestão da qualidade em centros de formação profissional na Europa. Para isso, foi realizada uma revisão de literatura que inclui relatórios, teses de doutorado, livros e capítulos de livros, além de artigos publicados em revistas científicas, tanto em inglês quanto em espanhol, sem estabelecer um limite de tempo. Os resultados mostram uma harmonização do conceito de formação profissional a nível europeu, embora existam diferenças na forma como cada estado concebe a qualidade do sistema educativo. Como resultado dessa discrepância, surgem diferentes propostas, muitas delas derivadas de modelos de negócios, para gerenciar a qualidade dos centros de formação profissional. Como consequência da utilização de modelos de negócios, baseados principalmente em processos, há a necessidade de incluir modelos de gestão do conhecimento focados na criação, transferência, armazenamento e aplicação do conhecimento disponível nos centros de formação profissional, embora não haja acordo na hora de definir como devem ser esses modelos ou a relação que devem estabelecer com os sistemas de garantia da qualidade. A revisão realizada permite concluir que, embora o mesmo conceito esteja a ser consolidado para a formação profissional, ainda há um longo caminho a percorrer para harmonizar os sistemas de garantia da qualidade e a sua ligação com os sistemas de gestão do conhecimento organizacional dos centros de formação profissional.]]></p></abstract>
