Participaron 486 estudiantes de quinto año de secundaria (44.03 % varones y 55.97 % mujeres) de colegios de Chiclayo (65.43 %) y Cajamarca (34.57 %), Perú, con edades entre 15 a 17 años (M= 16.23; DE= .62). La estructura interna fue evaluada mediante análisis factorial confirmatorio (AFC) y la fiabilidad mediante los coeficientes omega y alfa ordinal. Se aplicó AFC con el estimador WLSMV para probar el modelo de ocho factores correlacionados, se hallaron índices de ajuste adecuados: X 2(1052) = 1786.25, p &lt; .001, CFI = .96, TLI = .96, RMSEA (IC 90%) = .04 (.035 - .041) y SRMR = .05. Los índices de confiabilidad oscilaron entre .82 y .91. Se reportaron diferencias significativas en la percepción de autoeficacia para las inteligencias lógico-matemática, cinestésico corporal, interpersonal, intrapersonal y espacial, donde los varones se autovaloran con más capacidad que las mujeres. Se discuten los resultados y alcances del estudio]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This instrumental design study examines the validity and reliability evidence of the IAMI-R in Peruvian adolescents. A total of 486 fifth-year high school students (44.03 % male and 55.97 % female) from schools in Chiclayo (65.43 %) and Cajamarca (34.57 %), Peru, participated in the study. The participants were aged between 15 to 17 years (M = 16.23; SD = 0.62). The internal structure was evaluated using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and reliability was assessed through omega and ordinal alpha coefficients. CFA with the WLSMV estimator was applied to test the model of eight correlated factors, revealing adequate fit indices: X²(1052) = 1786.25, p &lt; .001, CFI = .96, TLI = .96, RMSEA (90% CI) = .04 (.035-.041), and SRMR = .05. The reliability indices ranged from .82 to .91. Significant differences were found in the self-efficacy perceptions for logical-mathematical, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and spatial intelligences, with males rating themselves as more capable than females. Participaram 486 alunos do quinto ano da escola secundária (segundo o sistema educativo peruano) (44,03 % homens e 55,97 % mulheres) de colégios de Chiclayo (65,43 %) e Cajamarca (34,57 %), Peru, com idades entre 15 e 17 anos (M = 16,23; DP = 0,62). A estrutura interna foi avaliada por meio de análise fatorial confirmatória (AFC) e a confiabilidade por meio dos coeficientes ômega e alfa ordinal. A AFC foi aplicada com o estimador WLSMV, para avaliar o modelo correlacionado de oito fatores, e foram encontrados índices de ajuste adequados: X 2(1052) = 1786,25, p &lt; 0,001, CFI = 0,96, TLI = 0,96, RMSEA (IC 90%) = 0,04 (0,035 - 0,041) e SRMR = 0,05. Os índices de confiabilidade variaram de 0,82 a 0,91.
