Desde el modelo de la historia cultural, la primera parte reconstruye, a partir de una exhaustiva labor hemerográfica, la trama material que hizo posible esta superproducción, que fue la más taquillera en 1954, tuvo exhibición internacional y migró a otros formatos mediáticos, poniéndola en correlación con su contexto sociopolítico de inscripción. Tomando herramientas críticas de los estudios de género, la segunda parte se interesa en examinar algunos de los signos que dan cuenta de aquella agencia femenino-maternal &#8220;desviada&#8221;, teniendo en consideración las estrategias narrativas y figurativas puestas en juego para su representación.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This article, which is part of a research focused on the diachronic mapping of the figurations of the maternal universe in Argentine cinema, reflects on the film Guacho (Lucas Demare, 1954), regarding the modes of representation of women-mothers that deviate from the canonical paradigm that subordinates female desire to the reproductive role and the socio-affective role of childcare. From the model of cultural history, the first part reconstructs, from an exhaustive hemerographic work, the material plot that made possible this blockbuster, which was the highest grossing film in 1954, had international exhibition and migrated to other media formats, putting it in correlation with its socio-political context of inscription. Taking critical tools from gender studies, the second part is interested in examining some of the signs that account for that "deviant" feminine-maternal agency, taking into consideration the narrative and figurative strategies put into play for its representation.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo: Este artigo, que faz parte de uma investigação focada no mapeamento diacrônico das figurações do universo materno no cinema argentino, reflete sobre o caso de Guacho (Lucas Demare, 1954), a respeito dos modos de representação das mulheres-mães que eles desviam do paradigma canônico que subordina o desejo feminino ao papel reprodutivo e socioafetivo de cuidar dos filhos. A partir do modelo de história cultural, a primeira parte reconstrói, a partir de um exaustivo trabalho hemerográfico, a trama material que possibilitou que esse blockbuster de maior bilheteria em 1954, teve exibição internacional e migrou para outros formatos midiáticos, colocando-o em correlação com seu contexto sócio-político de inscrição.
