La investigación, basada en una tesis doctoral, explora cómo estas mujeres, insatisfechas con los modelos institucionales religiosos y biomédicos, buscan alternativas a través de formaciones espirituales. Un caso destacado es el grupo Sagrado Femenino Tijuana, que ofrece un curso denominado Formación de la Diosa, en el que las participantes adoptan terapias alternativas para entender el cuerpo y las emociones. El estudio examina las motivaciones y experiencias de las mujeres que optan por esta formación, integrando saberes espirituales y prácticas terapéuticas no convencionales en su vida cotidiana. A través de sus trayectorias personales, se revela cómo estas mujeres vinculan sus cuerpos y emociones con terapias alternativas, superando las concepciones tradicionales de salud. La relevancia de esta investigación radica en su contribución al conocimiento sobre la relación entre espiritualidad y salud en contextos no convencionales. Al explorar las narrativas individuales y colectivas de las mujeres que forman parte de estos círculos, el trabajo aporta una comprensión más profunda de cómo estas prácticas responden a las limitaciones de los modelos institucionales, enriqueciendo el diálogo académico y social sobre estos temas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This study focuses on the intersection of spirituality and health, addressing the relationship between non-conventional practices and well-being, particularly within women's circles practicing the sacred feminine in Tijuana. The research, based on a doctoral dissertation, explores how these women, dissatisfied with institutional religious and biomedical models, seek alternatives through spiritual training. A notable case is the Sagrado Femenino Tijuana group, which offers a course called Formation of the Goddess, where participants adopt alternative therapies to understand the body and emotions. The study examines the motivations and experiences of women who choose this training, integrating spiritual knowledge and non-conventional therapeutic practices into their daily lives. Through their personal trajectories, it is revealed how these women connect their bodies and emotions with alternative therapies, transcending traditional health conceptions. The significance of this research lies in its contribution to the understanding of the relationship between spirituality and health in non-conventional contexts. By exploring the individual and collective narratives of women involved in these circles, this work provides a deeper understanding of how these practices respond to the limitations of institutional models, enriching the academic and social dialogue on these topics.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo Este trabalho se concentra na interseção entre espiritualidade e saúde, abordando a relação entre práticas não convencionais e o bem-estar, particularmente nos círculos de mulheres que praticam o sagrado feminino em Tijuana. A pesquisa, baseada em uma tese de doutorado, explora como essas mulheres, insatisfeitas com os modelos institucionais religiosos e biomédicos, buscam alternativas por meio de formações espirituais. Um caso de destaque é o grupo Sagrado Feminino Tijuana, que oferece um curso denominado Formação da Deusa, no qual as participantes adotam terapias alternativas para entender o corpo e as emoções. O estudo examina as motivações e experiências das mulheres que optam por essa formação, integrando conhecimentos espirituais e práticas terapêuticas não convencionais em seu cotidiano.
