Analizar las formas en que se manifiesta esta inserción en contextos situados, nos permite adentrarnos en la circulación de diferentes saberes, la interrelación de prácticas terapéuticas diversas, las disputas de saber/poder dentro de la biomedicina y dar cuenta cómo los espacios hospitalarios se constituyen a partir de heterogeneidades internas y dinámicas inherentes al trabajo en salud. Este artículo se sustenta en una investigación etnográfica realizada en un área de medicina integrativa dentro de un Hospital Público de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, entre 2018 y 2020. Este espacio brindaba reiki, reflexología y osteopatía fluido-energética a pacientes, familiares, personal del hospital y público en general. La propuesta era vivenciada por quienes la constituían y habitaban como una propuesta integral de bienestar que incluía estas prácticas terapéuticas, pero también los espacios y las dinámicas sociales que allí se generaban. Así, argumentaré que este dispositivo puede ser pensado como una micropolítica de bienestar, un proceso social objetivo, una experiencia que nos brinda información valiosa para entender cómo este tipo de prácticas terapéuticas pueden insertarse en instituciones biomédicas, a partir de su adaptación a las lógicas propias de los servicios de salud y al tipo de trabajo que allí se desarrolla.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The incorporation of &#8220;non-conventional medicines&#8221; and/or &#8220;alternative/complementary therapies&#8221; into healthcare services or hospitals is a growing phenomenon in Argentina. Analyzing the ways in which this incorporation manifests in specific contexts allows us to delve into the circulation of diverse knowledge, the interrelation of various therapeutic practices, and the power/knowledge disputes within biomedicine. This also sheds light on how hospital spaces are shaped by internal heterogeneities and dynamics inherent to healthcare work. This article is based on ethnographic research conducted between 2018 and 2020 in an integrative medicine area within a Public Hospital in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. This space offered reiki, reflexology, and fluid-energetic osteopathy to patients, their families, hospital staff, and the general public. The initiative was experienced by those who participated in it as a holistic approach to well-being, encompassing not only these therapeutic practices but also the spaces and social dynamics generated within. I will argue that this initiative can be understood as a micropolitics of well-being, an objective social process, an experience that provides valuable insights into how these types of therapeutic practices can be incorporated into biomedical institutions by adapting to the specific logics of healthcare services and the nature of work conducted within these settings.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo A inserção de &#8220;medicinas não convencionais&#8221; e/ou &#8220;terapias alternativas/complementares&#8221; em serviços de saúde ou hospitais é um fenômeno crescente na Argentina. Analisar as formas em que essa inserção se manifesta em contextos específicos nos permite explorar a circulação de diferentes saberes, a inter-relação de práticas terapêuticas diversas, as disputas de saber/poder dentro da biomedicina e entender como os espaços hospitalares se constituem a partir de heterogeneidades internas e dinâmicas inerentes ao trabalho em saúde. Este artigo se baseia em uma pesquisa etnográfica realizada entre 2018 e 2020 em uma área de medicina integrativa dentro de um hospital público na Cidade Autônoma de Buenos Aires. Este espaço oferecia reiki, reflexologia e osteopatia fluido-energética para pacientes, familiares, funcionários do hospital e público em geral. A proposta era vivenciada pelos participantes como uma abordagem integral de bem-estar que incluía essas práticas terapêuticas, mas também os espaços e as dinâmicas sociais que ali se geravam.
