El caso permite verificar la agenda del BDELTV: relación entre forma, logística y costos; el vínculo entre mercado de la construcción; las expectativas de patrones y las especulaciones del Estudio respecto de los contenidos de la arquitectura como mass media. A partir del primer lustro de los 60s, con edificios específicos o sorpresivas instalaciones artísticas inspiradas por sitios determinados (identificadas en el medio artístico como los happenings), la modernización &#8220;tomó el mando&#8221; y la creatividad invadió el universo cotidiano del ciudadano común. La arquitectura de BDELTV parece haberse nutrido de ese ciclo de creatividad, exploración y desafío a las convenciones, cruzando los campos de la función y la plástica.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: The Koch Polito Mill was the last of the projects in which Baudizzone, Díaz, Erbin, Lestard, Traine and Varas -BDELTV- implemented an original design process, specifying standard construction systems of argentine market and novel materials in innovative ways. The case allows to verify the BDELTV agenda: relationship between form, logistics and costs; the link between the construction market; the expectations of patrons and the speculations of the Study regarding the contents of architecture as mass media. Starting in the first five years of the 60s, with specific buildings or surprising artistic site specific installations (identified in the domestic artistic medium as happenings), modernization &#8220;took over&#8221; and creativity invaded the everyday universe of the common citizen. BDELTV's architecture seems to have been nourished by this cycle of creativity, exploration and defiance of conventions, crossing the fields of function and plastic.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo: O armazém de bobinas de papel Koch Polito foi o último dos projetos em que Baudizzone, Díaz, Erbin, Lestard, Traine e Varas -BDELTV- implementaram um processo de design original, especificando sistemas construtivos padrão do mercado argentino e novos materiais de forma inovadora. O caso permite verificar a agenda da BDELTV: relação entre forma, logística e custos; a ligação entre o mercado da construção; as expectativas dos mecenas e as especulações do Estudo sobre os conteúdos da arquitetura como meios de comunicação de massa. A partir dos primeiros cinco anos dos anos 60, com edifícios específicos ou surpreendentes site specific instalações (identificados no meio artístico como happenings), a modernização &#8220;took command&#8221; e a criatividade invadiu o universo quotidiano do cidadão comum. A arquitetura da BDELTV parece ter sido alimentada por esse ciclo de criatividade, exploração e desafio às convenções, cruzando os campos da função e do plástica.]]></p></abstract>
