Tambi&eacute;n para los mayores de esa edad con factores de riesgo. Estas directivas han sido adoptadas por las autoridades sanitarias uruguayas.</font></font><font color="#1f1a17" face="Verdana" size="2"> </font></p>      <p align="left"><font color="#1f1a17" face="Verdana" size="2"> La recomendaci&oacute;n est&aacute; sustentada por numerosos estudios publicados en revistas cient&iacute;ficas que se&ntilde;alan el aumento de hospitalizaciones de los ni&ntilde;os durante las epidemias anuales de influenza y la mayor frecuencia de neumon&iacute;as complicadas. A esta realidad fehacientemente comprobada se agregan otros beneficios que no siempre son tenidos en cuenta. </font></p>      ]]></body>
<body><![CDATA[<p align="left"><font color="#1f1a17" face="Verdana" size="2"> La vacuna antigripal suma su efecto protector al de la vacuna antineumococo incorporada recientemente al Programa Ampliado de Inmunizaciones. Est&aacute; comprobado que el virus de influenza altera la mucosa respiratoria y sus defensas, de manera que facilita la agresi&oacute;n de neumococos que habitualmente integran la flora nasofar&iacute;ngea </font><font color="#1f1a17" face="Times New Roman" size="2"> <font color="#1f1a17" face="Verdana"><sup>(<a name="3-"></a><a href="#3">3</a><a name="4-"></a>,<a href="#4">4</a>)</sup></font><font color="#1f1a17" face="Verdana" size="2">.
