Abstract This study analyzes the gong practice in Uruguay, focusing on its application in therapeutic, educational, and spiritual contexts, highlighting resonance as a key conceptual axis that connects scientific and spiritual discourses. Through an ethnographic methodology that integrates the anthropology of the body and sound, the study examines the narratives of facilitators and participants, as well as emerging experiences related to sound and vibration. The findings suggest that the gong serves as a space for the convergence of knowledge, redefining the relationship between the body, the environment, and sound perception.
