Abstract
GONZALEZ CABRERA, Yoseline. "Play around": eroticism and ethics in my ethnographic work. Rev. urug. Antropología y Etnografía [online]. 2021, vol.6, n.1, pp.115-129. Epub June 01, 2021. ISSN 2393-7068. https://doi.org/10.29112/ruae.v6.n1.7.
Putting the body into field work implies stepping out of the role of ethnographer who questions, listens and observes, giving rise to the senses which take on a particular dimension. In this case my corporality takes strength in eroticism, generating ethical and methodological ruptures. This article gives an account of these convergences, from which I narrate the problems of ethnographic fieldwork in a hospital kitchen. I discuss from my voice as a researcher what happens when from our corporality we break the ideal role of the researcher by merging into bonds from an erotic corporality.
