Abstract

QUADRELLI, Andrea et al. FLACSO MEETING, WORKSHOP IN GUATEMALA, FEBRUARY 2020. Rev. urug. Antropología y Etnografía [online]. 2020, vol.5, n.1, pp.83-113.  Epub June 01, 2020. ISSN 2393-7068.  https://doi.org/10.29112/ruae.v5.n1.7.

The growing process of globalization causes the mobility of people and the management of international borders to begin to develop increasingly similar dynamics and phenomena. On the other hand, political conjunctures determine periods of opening, but also of shielding borders, along with increasing processes of global securitization. This Dossier presents the dialogues generated in the Seminar on Looks from Latin America between academics and students from different countries and historical contexts, with theoretical and methodological experiences, which allow us to begin to understand these phenomena, while developing networks for horizontal exchange of knowledge.
