The objective of this work is to present a case that we have known during the fieldwork: Juli, a child resident in the settlement "El Trigal" (Posadas, Misiones-Argentina). And from there, reflecting on the lathe to the illness and their care, death and dying. Data reporting for this article were obtained within the framework of a broader research carried out between the years 2013-2016. The method used was the ethnography -characteristic of social anthropology-, which links in-depth interviews and field observations; with this method, in turn, have captured of the "illness narratives". We address here the ways of conceiving the condition, the knowledge involved in the process and the ways to take care of it, also the way in which death plays part of this vital process.
