Abstract

The neuropsichiatric manifestations of systemic lupus erythematosus are very wide, involving central and peripheral nervous system. Affecting approximately 56% of lupus patients, with higher incidence previous or next to the diagnosis. It is a challenge for phisicians, specially for patients without previous diagnostic of the desease.

Diagnostic is of exclussion, because there are not specific test. There are in disccussion the role of some autoantibodies and neuroimagenological tecniques for this purpose. We present 3 case report and review of the literature.
