Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a high prevalence disease, with higher morbimortality than the general population, which emphasizes the importance of achieving good glycaemic control. This study was designed in order to meet the metabolic control in hospitalized diabetics, finding a population mostly out of therapeutic targets.
