This article deals with the problem of the law’s interpretation from the point of view of the subject who interprets. Affirming that the discovery of the meanings contained in the normative texts is not a matter of automatisms, the study intends to deepen the question of the function of those who devote their lives to the interpretation of the law, aiming to follow a vocation to pursue high goals.
