This work analyses the evolution of the concepts of person, legal competence and incompetence in order to assay a forecast of the evolution of the causes of legal incompetence. It works with the law of the Argentine Republic as reference. The sources and validity of the concept of person, legal competence and incompetence are described taking into account the general principle of legal solidarity
