Abstract

SCANAVINO, Gabriela. Learning spaces: Object System applied to contemporary educational architecture. An. Investig. Arquit. [online]. 2023, vol.13, n.1, e201.  Epub June 01, 2023. ISSN 2301-1505.  https://doi.org/10.18861/ania.2023.13.1.3330.

Educational spaces play a fundamental role in the growth of children, as they are the place where they spend a large number of hours each day developing their knowledge, as well as interacting with their peers. For this reason, their planning must be done carefully taking into account the intended users.

Over the years, reforms in the educational system have placed the student in a more "active" position, forcing architecture to adapt and contemplate the new needs. If pedagogical guidelines change, as well as teaching methods, architecture, in our opinion, must go hand in hand with these transformations.

The following article aims to study objects as generators of these new spatialities, being part of a system that has the capacity to invade, adapt and qualify its environment, calling into question the bases of contemporary architectural design on a national as well as international level.

Keywords : Object System; Educational Architecture; Educational Space; New Spatialities; Education; pedagogy.
