Abstract

University libraries are part of an ecosystem of knowledge production and their main function is to support the research developed at universities. This experience report aims to describe the impact of the support of teachers in promoting the use of services and resources of the Central Library Irmão José Otão of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). Through a project a team of librarians carried out actions that reinforced the direct communication with the teachers, making it possible to quantify the impact of the teachers' influence in the promotion of the Library's resources and services. Furthermore, this report promotes reflections about the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the importance of the librarianship and university libraries.
