Abstract

BELANDRO, Ruben Santos. The fundamental human rights that are “derived from the republican form of government”. Rev. Fac. Der. [online]. 2024, n.57, e102.  Epub June 01, 2024. ISSN 0797-8316.  https://doi.org/10.22187/rfd2024n57a2.

Compelled by the entry into force of the General Law of Private International Law, No. 19,920 of November 2020, legal operators must analyze, from an internationalist approach, the scope of the last part of the syntagm contained in art. 72 of the Constitution of the Republic, as long as the new law requires us to consider fundamental rights as members of our legal individuality.

Keywords : fundamental rights; Private International Law; Uruguayan Constitution; republican form of government..
