All families hope to count on the protection of their rights beyond territorial borders, they will seek to have them in other countries and, where appropriate, they will go to the authorities to provide justice. In this sense, it is the task of the States to guarantee the continuity of legal relations as respect for multiculturalism. The "convivial unions" were a social reality that achieved a normative recognition brought in Argentine law. In this paper, we propose to analyze their treatment from Private International Law and their impact on family law.
