This investigation presents the analysis of the main characteristics that actually defined a family-owned business, the difficulties that they constantly face in managing internal conflicts that cause the need of strong relations between members of the labor, administrative and directive body to continue and not damage aspects such as productivity, growth and projection. In the business field there are several mechanisms to use, legal and alternative to solve conflict situations between members of a company, however, this paper focuses on highlighting the advantages of alternative mechanisms as forms of greater goodness or kindness in the case of family-owned companies. It is also mention the fact that coaching in its ontological discipline might be a successful figure within any family-owned company to positively manage conflicts and thereby ensure business continuity and growth.
