The present paper covers different axes that build the path on which childhood walks along. With that objective, the focus shall be upon the actors that operate within this childhood under the auspice of the “old paradigm” such as the Child Wealth Fare Act (Ley de Patronato - 1919), as well as under the “universal halo” of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. This Decalogue, while installing children and adolescents as “subjects or rights”, locates them in an ambiguous role that creates (more) tensions.
