Abstract

The silence of the administration is an institute of Administrative Law in which at the absence of a response from the public entity is assigned a meaning, usually dismissing the petition. The Uruguayan and argentine administrative systems have important similarities and some differences in their regulation. In this paper, both systems are compared, pointing their differences and points in common.
