This paper analyzes the dismissal of the disabled worker established by law n.° 19.691 as a realization of the principle of progressivity, articulating it within the national and international legal system as a special guardianship an revealing its relationship with the other especial guardianships provided in our country in cases of dismissals in vulnerable situations.
