Abstract

MONTALVO ROMERO, Josefa. Work from a Gender Perspective. Rev. Fac. Der. [online]. 2020, n.49, e106.  Epub Nov 01, 2020. ISSN 0797-8316.  https://doi.org/10.22187/rfd2020n49a6.

Many of us think that with the rise of human rights in recent years women could achieve the longed-for equality of work, but this has not been the case.

This research looks at different scenarios in the world of work from a gender perspective focused on working women. We move on the general and simple idea that the gender perspective involves researching, to highlight the discrimination that women have been and are subject to in labour. Thus, gender equality gaps are identified that have to do, among other topics, with differences in wages, difficulties in accessing formal employment, work and family life, the low participation of women in managerial or managerial positions etc.

Keywords : Human Rights; Equality; Gender Perspective; Discrimination; Work.
