Abstract

The family business is an economic source of the family bosom, nourishes and feeds important aspects such as business, heritage and the relationship between the family members. The social impact of conflict resolution in family businesses is that, according to the figures of the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants, 50% and 80% of the world's companies are familiar, generating approximately 50% of the product gross domestic (GDP) worldwide and it is estimated that 90% of established Mexican companies are under the control and ownership of a family. This reveals the transcendental contribution of family businesses to economic, social and cultural development in the Mexican and global context. This paper uses a systematic bibliographic review methodology which allows the prospective study of conflicts between family business partners through mediation models, in order to analyze the viability of Implementation of these models in the resolution of conflicts in family businesses, regardless of their conformation or size, but rather, the evolution and economic and generational growth of the corporation.
