I am interested in analyzing the Spanish Propuesta to Modernize the Civil Code on obligations and contracts, what concerns to the right of option and how this proposal could possibly guide any reform of Spanish law of obligations. There are two visions they face in the process of unification of European Private Law: Anglo-Saxon and continental look. Therefore, we also refer to the tension between them.
