Abstract

This article aims to reflect on the historical perspectives, of the ancient, medieval, modern a contemporary times, on the causal models in Mental Health. Its objective is to reconstruct the attention that was focused on the person who suffered from a mental disorder in the different historical stages and cultural contexts. This interdisciplinary confluence of History, Philosophy, Anthropology and Health, allows us to join the evolution of thought with culture and care, to re-promote today the importance of the humanization of Mental Health care.
