The article presents the results of the evaluation of the Observatory of Pre-professional Practices in planning, methodology, and evaluation of Physical Education, implemented in the Bachelor of Physical Education program at Udelar, in the course Planning, Methodology, and Evaluation in Physical Education (PMEEF), which is mandatory and precedes teaching practices. Its objective was to create a bridge that facilitates the analysis and reworking of these topics among student peers, in a facilitated, well founded, and authentic manner. A mixed evaluation methodology was chosen, combining questionnaires directed at the student body and discussion groups among students and teachers. The first findings systematize the opinions of 116 students collected in two Google Forms surveys. They mostly value the experience as highly satisfactory due to the treatment of the topics and the methods created for this purpose, which largely meet their expectations. Additionally, they highly appreciate peer collaboration. It is concluded that the experience enhances the understanding of PMEEF topics and, at the same time, promotes the creation of learning communities among students in the Bachelor’s program. In summary, it serves as a prelude to what will be the future student essay on pre-professional practices.
