In line with the search to train university professionals with skills for a better insertion in the workplace and capable of critically facing the problems posed by contemporary technological and economic development, a process of inquiry has been initiated in engineering careers to identify and problematize institutional registry on curricular and didactic treatment of professional practices and practical knowledge at the university. The voices in dialogue of graduates, students and teachers are configured as units of analysis for the study of different ways of going through professional practical training. Within the framework of this research, we present a first inductive analysis of student experiences recorded in structured interviews using an online form. This in the search to generate conceptualizations that allow curricular visibility to their training paths linked to professional practices and, in particular, the elements associated with good professional work that they recover from these experiences. From this analysis, meanings and assessments arise about the spaces of practice formalized or not in the curriculum that allow problematizing the various ways of making profession from university and constructing new inquiry questions.
