Abstract

This work intends to support a reflection on didactics as a disciplinary field from the identification of new theoretical and practical references.

Didactics has been constituted primarily around the study and intervention in school education. This discipline evidences a review of the pedagogical-didactic assumptions that characterized it in its modern constitution, even when the mass education systems have presented enabling conditions for the achievement of its educational purposes. Alternative experiences to the hegemonic device present challenges to didactics that are proposed by the study and intervention in teaching practices. Likewise, other theoretical references are required to accompany the epistemological re-signification of the disciplinary field.

To achieve these purposes, we analyze the training experience in the subject Didactics of the course of Teachers and Bachelor on Educational Sciences, Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (FaHCE-UNLP), which since 2017 has been dedicated to the problematization of this reconfiguration of didactics.

In turn, the deepening of these discussions is proposed as a result of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, which has imposed new theoretical, practical, epistemological and political reflections.
