This work is part of the doctoral thesis of the first of the authors. This article presents the results obtained about the initial expectations and final perceptions on the role of university graduate in Nutrition of the students, tutors and university teachers in the Professional Practice of degree in Nutrition (Facultad de Bioquímica y Ciencias Biológicas de la Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Santa Fe, Argentina). A sample of 47 students, 11 tutors, and 4 university professors was studied during 2017, using two online questionnaires and an interview. In order to analyze the relationship between the two dependent ordinal variables - expectations and perceptions - the Wilcoxon test was applied. The results indicate that the mean value of expectations exceeds that of perceptions in the three components of the sample consulted. However, they agree that the most widely perceived role is that performed in the Education area, while the least mentioned are the roles performed in the Clinical, Food service, Industry and Research areas.
