In this study, typological observations are made on the manifestation of grammatical person within 48 linguistic systems spoken in Colombia between the 20th and 21st centuries.

For this purpose, secondary sources are reviewed and the information is classified according to the presence or absence of documentation of the category in different word classes, in such a way that it is susceptible to structural and areal analysis. It is found that, at the first level of analysis, Piapoco is the language that offers the greatest level of transversality of grammatical category of person. Regarding the second level, the greatest difference is concentrated in the contrast between the southwest of the country and the rest of the territory.
