This revew-article offers information about the new collection promoted by theAsociación de Academias de la Lengua Española (ASALE) with the collaboration of the Fundación José Manuel Lara. The same one, which already has seven published volumes, reproduces classic articles of Hispanic philology, by authors from different Spanish-speaking countries that cover a time span (in terms of their original publication dates) of approximately a century. Each volume is presented and annotated by a specialist, who writes a prologue in which he gives news of the author, his work, his time and the work in question. It is an important initiative aimed at making known some works, perhaps a little forgotten today, but of decisive incidence in further developments of the discipline.
