Abstract

This work is the result of theoretical and practical questions about the position of the language specialist and the clinical researcher on symptomatic speech. Involves a listening theoretically oriented in order to enable a treatment of the patients speech when arriving at the clinic, that is, depending on how the language is conceived, the subject and the clinic, the reception of those speeches will happen in a certain way. We follow Arantes (2001) recommendation on "read after practice": transcribe patient and therapist speeches to appreciate the effects that each one implies the other and also be able to take a position to the clinical management with this pathological speech. We present the G. case and from the consideration of the procedure indicated by Arantes (2001), we were able to raise questions and it could receive other considerations and managements in clinical scene after this work out of the scene
