Among the content required to acquire ethics and legal competences in dental education was agreed the Process of Informed Consent (PCI). This process was set up in different countries of the region as a routine practice in the dental clinic where professional and patient share the clinic decisions. In parallel with its implementation was constructed in the region for their broader ethical, legal doctrine and teaching university that was consolidated within the dental practice. It should then review the processes associated with the acquisition of ethical responsibilities that are deployed on the routes college of Dentistry. Therefore, the main objective of the study was to observe the teaching and learning process linked to competition Informed Consent Process for the formation of an undergraduate of Dentistry, Facultad de Odontología Universidad de la República
