Scarring is the hallmark, leading to blindness, poor nutrition and difficulties to eat, to swallow and to breathe. The diagnosis, treatment and control must be made by a multidisciplinary team. We present two cases of mucous membrane pemphigoid of oral location, considering the interest because of the clinical symptoms and the different clinical course in each of them.
