The limited knowledge of the adolescence bio-psycho-social characteristics and the permanent demonstration of defiant behaviors are the causes that dentist think that teenagers are not easy patients making difficult their clinic treatment. The main of this paper is to make a revision of the literature involving psychological aspects in order to facilitate the dental treatment covering health promotion in public service and in private clinics playing an important role as a easier agent between the teenager patients and their parents
