Myasis is the infestation of living or dead tissues by the larvae of flies. Is not frecuently in the maxillofacial area. This case reports an unusual finding, has not been previously described in the national literature. This patient was seen in Department of Urgency. We considered interesting an actual review about the different species able to produce infestation in human; their life cycle and treatment modalities are also analyzed
